Construction And Installation - General Provisions

1. Before the construction and installation of metal-faced sandwich panels, the following preparatory work should be completed: prepare a specific construction plan according to the construction drawings;

2. Complete the detailed construction drawings for the metal-faced sandwich panel system and obtain approval from the construction drawing design unit;

3. Inspect and accept the main structure according to the established procedures;

4. Mark the baseline and installation control points on the supporting structure.

5. Construction measurements for the installation of metal sandwich panel roofing and wall systems should use the benchmark points measured for the main structure.

6. Metal sandwich panel systems must not be installed in rainy or snowy weather, and must not be installed in winds of level 5 or above.

7. The inspection of metal-faced sandwich panels upon arrival at the site shall comply with the following regulations:

8. The product's quality certificate, Chinese labeling, and inspection report should comply with inspection regulations;

9. The types, specifications, and performance of raw materials and components used in metal-faced sandwich panels shall comply with the provisions and design requirements of Chapter 4 of this standard;

10. The specifications, dimensions, permissible deviations, surface quality, coating quality, and inspection methods of metal-faced sandwich panels shall comply with the design requirements and the provisions of the current national standard GB/T23932 "Metal-faced Insulated Sandwich Panels for Buildings".
